If I could give a ten-star rating, i would. From the moment we walked in, with lights on and hot tub ready, we felt at home. My husband is hard to please, and all he could say was "WOW"! This cabin had to be the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. And it looks just like the pictures on-line. It is in an ideal location, minutes from Gatlinburg, the Arts Community, a grocery store, the Smoky Mountains, and not far from Pigeon Forge. And no steep road to climb. The host was easy to communicate with, and always responded quickly. My only negative - I wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks for a great stay in a beautiful location!
The cabin was beautiful and clean and also in a surprisingly convenient location! Easy in and easy out from Interstate 40. We had rented from Diamond Mountain before and will definitely rent from them again!
Peaceful cabin in the clouds! Beautiful views from 2 balconies. Well appointed, with everything you need for a nice stay. Nice soaking tub upstairs. Just FYI, the coffee pot is small, bring your own filters and coffee.
The cabin was great everything we expected. Nice and clean and quiet. One thing the bed seemed to have a dip on the side closest to the bathroom-kind of had you roll to the center of the bed when you laid down. Just a minor thing but you could get around it. Will definitely be back.
We absolutely loved the Great Escape. The house was very clean upon our arrival. Had everything we needed for our week stay. Only thing we had to buy was laundry soap but that's no big issue whatsoever. The water pressure is great. The hot tub was a nice ending to a very busy day in town. We had some bear visit us every morning and evening. They would sneak right up on you if you was standing in the driveway but they didn't seem to mind us. They didn't show any aggression at all but they are wild animals so use caution when you see them. Do not approach them. Momma and her 3 cubs was always a nice visit from them. The cubs would play in the yard as momma was looking for food. We will be back next year to the area and will definitely be staying at the Great Escape again.
